Dr. Nagarkatti performed a total knee revision for me after a different doctor had used the wrong size and type knee replacement. My knee was swollen, extremely painful and wobbly. Dr. Nagarkatti fixed everything. He is a very gifted surgeon and a very kind hearted person. His secretary, Linda is incredibly helpful with forms and scheduling. His PA, Chris is also excellent.
Had TKR on May 8th. My knee is doing great. The scar is minimal as he uses glue. No stitches or clamps to remove.Good bedside manner. His office took care of the Home Home PT.I didn't hAve to do a thing. They called me to make my appointments and very happy with the PT they chose for home care.The PT I had aftervthat.. 6week was from ECRC in Colchester Ct and if you live in HEBRON or Marlborough Portland even Glastonbury. It's worth the trip as Fred Phelps my PT was very gentle caring person. I recommend Fred very highly as I recommend Dr Nagarakartti every chance I get. Great Dr!! You need great PT to compliment him. You should not be in pain after PT!! FRED PHELPS AT EVEN IN COLCHESTER IS THE MAN FOR THE JOB. DR NAGARAKARTTI IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO DO YOUR SURGERY. HE DOES MANY.. THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED TO CHECK. HOW MANY THE DR HAS DOBE AND HOW RECENT AS THEY NEED TO KEEP UP ON ALL THE NEW PROCEDURES.I'M HAPPY HE IS MY SURGEON!!WHEN I GET MY LEFT KNEE I KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR DR AND OR. WORTH THE DRIVE TO COLCHESTER!!
I am not sure if this is a very normal result, but I am five days out from total knee replacement with Dr. Nagarkatti and able to manage with very, very little pain and much more mobility than I could've hoped for at this stage. I understand that this does not happen by itself and his surgery team, along with the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, could not have made this a more easier and pleasant experience than it has been. My family and I are very grateful.
