Just left exactly at 5:48 pm smh the wait was ridiculously since employees wanna chat about irrelevant stuff to their job heading to weathersfield Ave auto zone never shopping there again !

When it comes to auto parts, I've been an exclusive AutoZone customer for over twenty years. That changes today.One of the big reasons I've been so loyal to AutoZone is their personal and relaxed approach to doing business? Sure, you can borrow a wrench for 5 minutes. Sure, you can take that out and see if the color matches your interior close enough. Sure, you can take that out and see if it's going to look good on your car.Today, I was looking at a Decepticon emblem in the AutoZone at 997 New Britain Ave. in West Hartford, CT, wondering if the curve on my grille guard would be too rounded for it to apply properly. I took it to the counter and said "I'm gonna run out real quick and see if this is going to mount properly on my Jeep", to which Jose responded "you can't do that". I told him it's never been a problem before and that my Jeep was in plain sight of the counter. Jose responded "you can't take it out unless you pay for it".I dropped it on the counter and left. This policy shift has me shopping elsewhere. What happened, AutoZone? Where's the AutoZone I've come to love over the past 20 years?
I love this place. This is my zone i have not had a bad experience yet and i do not think i will. I come in and out alot and they always make sure i leave happy... good job guy and girls.
One helpful female employee, polite, professional, respectful. Two male employees were flat out rude and dismissive -- horrible customer service. Such an off-putting experience I drove a mile out of my way on a bad battery just to take my business elsewhere. Never again.
