Awful customer service. Took days to reply to my calls and eventually stopped calling me back. The only way I could get my insurance information updated was after I sent them an actual letter. No replies to either mine or my insurance representatives many calls or emails. Unnecessary stress added to an already stressful situation.
This is nothing but a conglomerate that has developed a fast food health care mentality! You don't even see doctors until day of surgery you see PA after PA and they charge you for seeing a doctor! Thanks to socialized medicine, I/we wind up with crapy medicine like these people offer, including mis diagnosing me and putting me through the surgery mill for no reason! Seek healthcare somewhere else like I decided to do today!
Laying off therapists????? Criminal. Patients are not purchasing potato peelers. They are seeking sometimes lifesaving treatment from someone that we have built up trust with over a long period of time. Finding a connection is not an easy task and often requires the patient trying 2, 3, or more different therapist. After you find one you have to build trust in each other often taking a dozen or so sessions. You cannot just stop the treatment in the middle and suggest that the patient just begin again with someone new.
I never had worse experience, received a call today to contact Trinity Health for an issue concerning my account, I called immediately, the reason for the call was to inquire about a bill that was mailed to me less than 10 days ago, I don't even remember receiving it as I just had a death in the family and didn't get the chance to check my bills yet. I work for the biggest Healthcare employer in Connecticut, we never chase our customers in one week after mailing the invoice!! wish I don't have to deal with them again.
If you require health insurance coverage to work for this company, don't bother to apply unless you want to be ripped off. YOU PAY OUTRAGEOUS COSTS and they dangle a savings carrot that's an absolute lie. They FORCE you to sign up with an awful scam company, Red Brick Health and you MUST perform "Health Journeys", or you are severely penalized with even HIGHER RATES!! Doubt me? Go read their reviews! I've been incredibly stressed-out and injured trying to accomplish the forced tasks, only to find out 2-years in a row that I wasn't good enough at it. We had to pay more anyway.I very much hope my spouse gets a different job, so I can relax and pay normal insurance rates again.
