HOFFMAN SELLS LEMONS - LOOK AT REPORTS BELOWI bought a turbo diesel truck from Hoffman this summer. On my way home from the dealership after purchasing the truck that day the check engine light came on. Their technicians as well as a third party ford authorized dealer diagnosed the truck to have a engine defect a seized turbo as well as several other things including the braking system and front end. The truck couldn't pass inspection and still hasn't. The General manager Walter Pethick replied to the matter by saying he didn't give a rats a$$ what the technicians had said and wouldn't fix the problem. They stopped answering my calls as soon as I left the lot the day I bought it. "driven by trust" means nothing to these people it is simply a catch phrase don't fall for it. Don't fall for their response that they care about their customers and they want to accommodate them the best the can either. Unfortunately i was a customer and I can tell you personally they wont answer the phone or even call you back. ACTUATOR ROD IS PART OF TURBO AND IS SEIZED. NEEDS TO BE REPLACED TO REPAIR.Lets see if they offer to fix the engine defect the truck had when they sold it to me or they just dance around the fact that the truck was diagnosed the first day it left the lot with an engine defect that their own technicians found as well
Literally the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. I deleted my first 1 star review for this place because I felt guilty for being so honest. I will not be deleting this review and will be in contact with Ford directly about my experience. I brought my car in beginning of November to get my sunroof closed (opened up on its own and would not close). Not only did they not answer my calls, they had my car for nine days and did not even bother to look at it until day 8 when I finally got in touch with my advisor. After all of that, I got my car back and found water all in my center console and my back seat was soaking wet and full of water. When I reached out they said oh thats too bad and that they would get back in touch with me to get my car detailed. Never did. I didnt pursue it because I was trying to be understanding that they were busy. Now a month and a half later, I look in my back seat and water is leaking from the sunroof and there is water all over my back seat. When I called (I had to call twice for someone to answer) I explained the situation to the man who answered the phone and he sarcastically says well I guess that sounds like you need to make an appointment. I have never been more offended. I understand things happen, I understand everyone is busy, but when I pay for service I should be treated with respect. Do not recommend this place AT ALL.
Dropped of our truck here and waited about 20 minutes before service guy even approached me and that was because the nice old man that takes the vehicles said he had to go and try to make eye contact with one of them. I was told it would take all day for service and that if truck was done by end of day they would email me. They said as long as I called in the morning that I would be considered one of the first pick ups, well I called at 7:30 am and Im sure was one of the first calls since thats the time they open. They told me the shuttle driver would be calling me right away. I waited an hour an a half and called them. They said they were doing their morning drop offs and that their driver was at Manchester and would call me right away because they were almost done. Another hour passes and I was forced to order an UBER and once I got there I received a call from shuttle driver that he was on his way. Do not make promises you cant keep. I dont have the pleasure of sitting behind a computer all day and waiting for a phone call. The worst part was they didnt even seem to care. I wonder if I was a guy would they have treated me the same way. Horrible customer service here in my opinion .
When I first saw the vehicle and looked at it I knew I was interested. My interactions with the sales staff and support staff was excellent. The sales transaction went very smoothly. Overall a great experience.
Great experience buying my new vehicle. Hoffman was able to find a truck that at all my needs at great price. They promised and delivered as they said they would. "Driven by trust" and trust they proved and followed up their guarantee on. My sales associate was awesome, friendly, and genuine . He took lots of time taking care of the fine details and made a great deal happen. The general manager make sure I was totally satisfied multiple times and make sure my experience was pleasurable. I am grateful and thankful to be referred to Hoffman Ford. I definitely will be a customer for life!!!
