Great bar in the Hartford Marriott Downtown!
Burbon flights are amazing. Well priced too.Bar food... amazing.
Cool setting but on the night we were there. There was this weird smell which is bleach because of how the clean it other than that coll looking spot!
The L Bar isnt a bad spot to grab a drink during a convention and catch up with or meet new people. In fact, that is its highlight. Unfortunately, its drinks also tend to be quite expensive compared to the many other places to drink and chat in and around downtown Hartford.It also can get very busy at the bar proper and although there are tables it has never struck me as the best in terms of service and satisfaction.The setting is pretty neat and contemporary; its a chic little corner cut off from the hotel proper, but its not much and is more geared toward hotel guests and convention attendees than to someone looking to have fun in the city. Because of that purpose, it is overpriced and not my favorite spot to go again, unless there is a convention or event going on in which case it can have quite a bit of pop to it, so to speak. But theres no live music nor interesting eats, so in that respect it is lacking.
I was at the L-Bar at the Marriott Hartford, Connecticut You need to pay attention to the Server 120 Sarah E ticket balances and Tips. I paid the total $99.97 by Credit Card and gave the Server $20 cash for the tip.Check my bank, I was charged again an additional $20. I immediately called and spoke with the Manager Matthew, he researched it and expedited the funds back into my bank. If this didn't happen I would have rated it 5 stars.
